Tanya Burr Advent Calendar: Swatches/First Impressions

Hey everyone, hope you're all enjoying your week and looking forward to Christmas! On the 30th November I was surprised with a Tanya Burr Advent Calendar from my dad, as he kept telling me he couldn't find them anywhere! I was super excited and have really enjoyed opening the doors for the 12 days (I wish there were 24 but I can't really complain). My friend Sophie over at Planet Whispers also got the calendar so we decided we wanted to do a collaboration, where she discusses what was in the calendar and I show swatches and my first impressions. I was going to do a makeup look using the products but I have been under so much stress recently I have rarely had time to put a look together (I will have one for you soon though!) Make sure you head over to to check out Sophies post!

Left to right: Christmas Stocking, Berry Pavlova, Candy Cane

It was crazy to see 3 very similar lip colours in the calendar this year, as I think there were 2 last year. To be perfectly honest, I'm not a lip gloss kinda girl, I hate the feel of sticky lips, so I much prefer to stick to cream lipsticks or mattes. I was so happy to find out that Christmas Stocking is actually a Matte lipstick and the colour is simply beautiful and right up my street. The packaging is so lovely and classic, which I love. I will most likely wear the matte lip on Christmas day, but I probably won't touch the glosses, so I may look into giving them away (I'd rather them not be sat in my draw rotting when someone can get the use out of them). They are all beautiful shades and my kinda colours and the names are so cute and well thought of, so overall I'm impressed so far. When I tried the matte lip it lasted so long, wasn't patchy in any way so it's definitely something I'll find myself reaching for.

Left to right: Snow day, Champagne Sparkle

Again, last year there were shimmer pots included in the calendar, so I guess there a favourite in her collection. They are the most perfect subtle colours, so if you love neutrals and shimmer then this will be right up your street. I did find the shade snow day to be a little rough when applying, but I soon got used to it, and it creates the most perfect shimmer on the eyes. I can see myself reaching for these to add a little bit of extra glam! The product size is a bonus too as you only need the slightest little bit and their the perfect size for travelling. The packaging is sturdy and won't come undone either so it won't end up everywhere!

Left to right: Ice Crystals, Treasured

This would be perfect to go on top of black winged liner. I love how she included both colours of gold and silver to switch it up a little, so I'm really excited to try them (even though I'm RUBBISH at liner). They seem quite patchy on my arm so will have to see when i apply to my eyes as I haven't had chance to yet, so it will be interesting to see. The wand is also quite thin which is a bonus as I find with some glitters they end up all over the place (I find it in my eyebrows, seriously!) Non the less, I can't wait to try them.

Nail Polish:

Left to right: Sleigh Bells, Glitters and Gold, Glitter Rain

I'll be totally honest again, there were too many nail polishes both last year and this year. Personally I'm not one for my nails, never have really been bothered with them. I'd love for them to put more makeup in, for example the liquid highlighter would have been perfect. I find that nail toppers really don't stay on and don't dry and smudge and I end up in one big mess so I don't bother. I expected the red to be less pink, although it was very shimmery, which the picture doesn't do justice. So overall, they'll probably go in my nail varnish collection and not come out often. Sorry, that's just me being honest.

Overall, for £15, I am very impressed with the products and how they perform. Although I wish there was more of a range, I think it's all festive and a lot of thought has gone into the formulas. It's just that I prefer a matte lip to gloss and makeup to nail polish, which obviously people may think differently of. I'm glad I managed to get one and can't wait to see what she comes up with next year. Make sure you check out Sophies post!

What calendars did you have this year?

Glossy Box: December

I'm sooo sorry for not posting in what feels like forever, but so many things have just got in the way. I have had essay deadlines, a presentation to prepare for and now I'm finally home for the Christmas Holidays. I still have a reflective summary to do (sigh) and I've had the worst migraines in the world the past couple of days, that have prevented me doing anything. Whilst writing this, I still don't feel 100% but I need to do something productive to keep me occupied whilst waiting for my next attack (I literally just try and sleep the whole time but then I was awake til 3am). So currently sat in a dark room, I decided to write my Glossy Box post. I did receive this about a week ago so I realise this post is long overdue, and I haven't tried out anything yet, as wearing makeup is the least of my worries at the moment. Anyway, enough of me rambling and feeling sorry for myself, here is what I got in this months box! (I also cant get over there are 5 full size products!)

Firstly, can we just please admire the packaging. With a festive touch, I think this is one of my favourite designs so far. Each box is perfectly packaged and I couldn't wait to get my claws into the products.

MDMFlow: Semi Matte Lipstick - This month, there was an option of two shades of lipstick and to be honest, I didn't mind which one I ended up with as they were both amazing shades. I got the nude shade which is called Bossy and it retails for £18. Already, the price of this product alone has exceeded the price I paid for the box, so this is literally why I love Glossy Box so much! I'll be totally honest I haven't tried this yet, but looks perfect for the upcoming Christmas season. Fancy taking a peek? Have a look here.

Essence: Light up your face luminizer palette - As soon as I saw this in the box, I was super excited. I've been obsessed with my highligher I got Makeup Obsession, so I think this will be a nice change as I like to switch things up a bit. It has 3 gorgeous shades which look perfect for my skin tone, which I can't wait to try out.. It retails for just £3 so on the cheap side, but the packaging is still sturdy and sleek. You can purchase it here from Wilkinsons, where it provides a sheer to shimmer highlight, so perfect for going from day to night!

Collection: Define & perfect eyebrow powder - I own a few things from collection and I have always been impressed at the quality. There not an expensive brand, but I love their setting powder and of course as you know the lasting perfection concealer. I have never tried an eyebrow powder before, from any brand, so this will be interesting to see. I usually stick to my trusty brow pomeade from ABH and Gimme Brow by benefit, but I can't wait to try this and review it! It retails for just £4.19 (the same as the concealer) Have a peek at it here.

Lipcote: Lipstick sealer - I have never actually heard of this before, but think it will be perfect for the party season! From the information on the Glossy Box card it states to put over blotted lipstick to help it be water and wine (yippee) resistant! I was actually surprised at the price (£3.99) as it looks like such a luxury product, so lets just hope its good! Will be looking forward to trying this out over the Christmas period. You can actually get it a little bit cheaper at Superdrug, which is always a bonus.

Revlon: Nail enamel - This looks like the perfect nail colour. I got a beautiful red glitter polish in my Tanya Burr Cosmetics Advent Calender, which will fit perfectly with this colour. It also seems the most perfect shade (mines in Gray Suede) It says it can last up to 10 days so will be perfect for me, I just hope it decides to work! It retails for £6.49 which personally I wouldn't pay for a nail varnish, but my mind might be changed if its any good, so only time will tell!

I think you can probably tell, this box has been my favourite (I know I probably say that every single time, but they honestly just keep getting better and better!) After adding it all up, the overall cost of the box is £35.67, which is really good considering I literally pay £13. It does usually work out to be more, but I'm really excited to try out all the products!

What did you get in your box this month? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks for reading,

TASH Cosmetics: Fiber Fused Mascara*

A few weeks ago, I got in contact with TASH Cosmetics, who I'd followed on Twitter for a while. They very kindly asked for me to try their new mascara, which of course I couldn't refuse, as I've never tried this kind of mascara before. I have seen loads of people trying the one from Younique and I was always put off by the prices, but fiber fused mascara is the best thing I've ever used. Overall, the brand were very polite and the shipping was fast, even from America so I was chuffed! Now, on with the review...

As you can see, the wand is pretty much like any other one. The only difference is, this is fiber mascara, which adds so much more volume. It adds little extra fibers to your lashes, creating a lot more length than any regular mascara. It's a really deep black so makes my brown lashes look so dramatic, which I love! It's not clumpy in any way, adds length and volume without them looking like spiders! The packaging is classy and sophisticated, and also sturdy with clear writing, so you know exactly what your using. I have also noticed that with some of the fiber fused mascaras there are two steps, but this one is just one so it's a bonus, as I can;t be dealing with faffing about in the morning. Someone I know also had an experience of getting the fibers in their eye and causing so many problems, but I can never see this happening with this mascara as everything just stays in place perfectly!

Now I know this picture looks a little big and weird, but I just wanted to show you the results. It's all well and good beauty bloggers being like wow this is soo good you have to buy it but I believe in being honest and I wouldn't ever lie in any of my posts, it's just not what I'm about. See the results for yourself. My lashes are awful (definitely got them from my Dad!) and they are not curly whatsoever and not defined in any way. This mascara curls, lengthens and separates my lashes and I am so happy with the results. Most mascaras I've tried have always flopped the curl, but not this one. The lashes stay on point all day, which is something I've never seen in a mascara before. Someone even asked me where I got my eyelashes extensions done, which I've never had before! I am so happy with the mascara and TASH cosmetics, they have been amazing to work with, so thank you so much for the oppurtunity and I can't wait to buy some more goodies! (there skincare looks AMAZING!) It beats Younique any day of the week! It retails for $20 which is an amazing price and can be purchased here.

Make sure you head over to and check out their line. They are also natural, organic, paraben free and cruelty free which is always a great thing in beauty products!

Have you ever tried a fiber fused mascara? What are your thoughts?

See you soon,

Georgia Xxx

November Favourites

Again it's the time for my monthly favourites. I have been sticking to the same things in my makeup routine, but also trying out some new goodies. I try to vary it as best as I can, but finding things I use all the time can be hard. This month I have included a new mascara, blusher, brow product, brush and concealer. Want to find out more about each product? Just keep on reading!

TASH COSMETICS: Fibre Fused Mascara - I posted a picture on my twitter on how amazing this makes my lashes look, I think its a new firm favourite. I was kindly sent this product to review (which is coming in full very soon, don't worry!), but I am so happy with it because to be honest, I didn't think fibre mascaras were worth purchasing, but trust me after using this I really would! I've been using it constantly and can't wait to review it for you all. It costs $20 and can be purchased here.

BENEFIT: Gimmie Brow - I'm pretty sure I've wrote about this before, but I will again. I only like using this when my brows are tinted, which gives them a much more natural look. I love using this with my dipbrow pomade, and it keeps everything in place perfectly. I have the lighter shade and only a sample size (I believe they have now changed the packaging) and I can't wait to purchase another one after discovering it again. The full size product retails for £18.50 and you can but it from Boots here.

MORPHE: M518 Brush - This is one of the best investments I've made without a doubt. I purchased a few brushes from Beauty Bay this month and just fell in love. It was definitely influenced by YouTube as EVERYONE seems to be using Morphe Brushes these days. It reminds me so much of the MAC 217 (well, it basically is a dupe) and it blends everything into the crease so effortlessly. I will definitely be purchasing more of them soon! On beauty bay, this costs £5.50 (bargain!) and can be purchased here.

ESTEE LAUDER: Blush - I got this blush last Christmas and have only just started using it because I was so scared to swatch it! It's the most prettiest pink shade and feels luxurious on the skin. The packaging is so pretty and sturdy, and a beautiful gold shade that makes you not want to use it! It costs £29 and can be purchased here, and select the correct shade (you won't regret it!)

CATRICE COSMETICS: Light Camouflage High Coverage Concealer - Last but not least, we have a concealer that my friend Sarah sent to me (all the way from Germany), you can read the post here and I have been using it non stop! It's perfect for the under eye area as well as covering spots and redness. It's apparently that good it can cover tattoos (which I don't know about as I don't have any!) but its such a good concealer. It doesn't crease, oxidize or come off, which is always a bonus. This is one of my new faves, hense why it's in my November favourites!

What have your beauty faves been this month? Let me know in the comments!

See you soon (which will most likely be a review of the mascara featured from TASH Cosmetics!)

Collaboration: Wonderland Blog

Hey everyone, sorry I haven't blogged in what feels like sooo long, I've had my first essay deadline this week so have been non-stop working on that, so I guess I've had to put blogging to one side which I've hated. A few week ago I was speakng to one of my friends who I spoke to when I first started blogging (and she's all the way in Germany) and she suggested a collaboration, so of course I agreed due to it being one of my most favourite things to do. Sarah works so hard on her bog and has literally the BEST photography so make sure you check out her blog (the link is here) after you've read my post. Some of her blog posts are in German as she obviously lives in Germany, but it can be translated into English. We speak all the time and she's so good at speaking English too, which is something that I find so cool to be able to do. Now, lets get on with the post.

First of all, I want to say thank you Sarah, if your reading this. The products you sent me are so thoughtful and the way everything was wrapped and the massive letter you wrote me was so lovely and I'm so thankful to have became friends with you! I've loved doing this colab so much and I hope you did too xxx

We both decided to send some products to each other that we mostly couldn't get our hands on in each country (so I would send things that were not available in Germany and vice versa), which Sarah came up with and its SUCH a good idea. Within a week I'd received my products and everything was so preciously wrapped and it was just beautiful.

As soon as the box came, I was super excited.

As you can clearly see, everything was wrapped up so beautifully and I was so shocked when I opened it. The package contained 5 products: A concealer, mascara, lipstick, blusher and a body wash.

- Catrice Cosmetics: Liquid Camouflage high coverage concealer - I had never actually heard of this concealer until Sarah very kindly sent it to me. I got the shade 02 light beige and I can honestly say this is up there with the Collection Lasting perfection (which I sent to Sarah as it's not available over there). The shade is perfect, its such high coverage and doesn't crease at all, which I love. I've used this so much and I'm honestly just so impressed with it.

- Trend it up: powder blush - This shade is perfect for me. I'm such a fan of pink blush as I have such a fair skin tone, so as soon as I opened it I loved it! Its a nice big product and very pigmented so a little goes a long way, so I can see me using this so much. It's in good, sturdy packaging and I got the shade 050. It also has such a pretty and textured pattern in the actual pan, which makes me so scared to use it and ruin it, but as it's so good I can't see why it would ever just sit in my drawer looking pretty!

 - Essence: Lash Princess mascara - I think that Essence is available here in the UK, but non-the-less I haven't actually tried anything from this brand. The packaging is so pretty and girly and the wand is so unique, it's like a curly flight of stairs. It adds so much volume to my lashes and makes them black, which is so good as my lashes are very light. I've used this almost every day and been loving it!

- P2: Full colour lipstick - As soon as I saw the colour of this, I knew I would fall in love. I have never heard of this brand before but I am so glad that Sarah introduced it to me. The packaging is sleek and simple, which the lipstick being a unique shape with P2 imprinted on it, it literally feels like Tom Ford. It has a creamy texture, its a lovely dark pink with reddish undertones and it the most perfect fall colour.

- Bibi loves you: from Bilou - Sarah explained to me in her letter that this product is a special one. It's the product that has been made by one of the most successful German YouTubers. It can be used as a shaving cream or body wash (I'll most likely use it as a shaving cream as I can't used perfumed or scented body washes), and it smells amazing, just like donuts. I admit it does make me hungry whenever I smell it but it's a lovely product and I just find shaving foam so interesting and satisfying (I don't know if it's just me?!) so I was really excited to see this.

I am super excited about all of the products and will continue to keep using them as often as I do, as they are perfect for the autumn and winter months. Once again a massive thank you to Sarah for suggesting the collaboration and putting so much thoughts into your products! I hope you all enjoyed reading my post, and make sure you read Sarah's over at, you won't regret it.

Have you heard or tried any of these brands before? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks for reading as always,

Byron Bay Skincare: Exfoliant and Mask

I've never really been into skincare as much as I am makeup, which is definitely something that I am trying to improve on. I tend to get most skin care in my Glossy Box's each month, which I why I haven't purchased anything in a while. To be honest, I take off my makeup with a wipe and climb into bed, which I know all the beauty guru's spend a good half an hour doing all sorts to their faces. To be perfectly honest, I just can't be bothered. The only thing I love doing is a nice face mask when I'm in the bath!

I came across the company Byron Bay when they followed me on Twitter, they were actually my 500th follower, which I was super excited about. Whenever I see a brand follow me on their Twitter page, I instantly have a nose at their products, it just goes without saying. Their products are all vegan and cruelty free, which is always a bonus when it comes to skin care. After taking a peek at their website, I went and ordered their mask, as I knew I would use it the most. I paid with 10% off as they kindly gave me a code so I paid around £18 + postage, which yes it might be on the expensive side, but I always see it as if it works, then it's worth it! You can buy the mask here for £19.80.

I also loved the fact that they put some samples in there as well! I got a body creme and gel cleanser, which I can't wait to try out too. The postage didn't take very long at all, which I always like as I hate waiting for parcels. As soon as it arrived I was shocked. To be honest I did expect the tub to be bigger than it was for the price, but after using it it didn't bother me as much. You only need the slightest little bit as it goes a long way. I applied a thin layer to my face and did my own thing. The mask contains jojoba seed oil and also lychee shell, which I'm not 100% sure on what they are but they seem to be doing some good! I left it on my face for 10 minutes before washing it off gently with a warm flannel.

Firstly, can I just say this product smells incredible. I wasn't too keen on it at first but when I realised it's full of goodness it made me feel so much better and it's not one of those masks that you can smell really strongly while it's on your face. Another thing I love is that it doesn't tighten up your face, I mean yeah you like to know it's doing something but sometimes I don't like it when its too therefore this was perfect. It's just so light and soft on the face and doesn't actually feel like your wearing a mask. After washing it off with a warm flannel my face felt so clean and smooth, like it never has before. Then I've had a breather from makeup the following day and I expected my skin to be really dehydrated, but its not the case at all. It's stayed hydrated, clean and refreshed. What are you waiting for? Go and have a look at, because I know I will be adding some more of their products onto my Christmas list! They also do bundles which are really handy, which you can have a peek at here.

Have you ever tried Byron Bay Skin Care before? What's your favourite mask at the moment? I think you know my decision after using this!

Thank you so much for reading and see you in my next post,

Georgia Xxx

Glossy Box: November

Hello everyone, hope your looking forward to the weekend! Today I have another post for you, my Glossy Box for the month of November (please tell me if you like seeing these posts, as I love writing them and they seem to get the most views so let me know!). I was actually very impressed with this months box, as always. If your not familiar with how Glossy Box works, you pay a small subscription price for around £13 a month (£10 + postage) for a box of beauty goodies to be delivered to your door each month. Worried you won't get your moneys worth? You literally get over triple! One product in this box is worth £80 alone, which is obviously crazy! It's not like you end up with some tiny little samples either that cost £2 each, most products are either full sized or very good sample sizes. So now, enough of me waffling, and on with the box!

111 Skin: Bio Cellulose Facial Treatment Mask - Again another sheet mask, which seems to be a firm favourite. I thought the one in Septembers box was expensive for £7.99! This one is literally just insane at the price of £20 (way too much to spend on one mask!) To be honest I'm waaay to scared to even open it and put it on my face. For that type of money I'd expect to be turned into a celeb! Its just crazy. Containing all this lovely stuff like silk amino acids, arbutin and centella asiatica to help brighten, condition, and to stimulate collagen production. Leaving it on for at least 20 minutes it seems the perfect mask, but waaay to expensive. If your mad and want to try this out, you can purchase it here from Space NK.

This Works: Deep Sleep Pillow Spray - I think this is such a good concept. Its only a small bottle, but will be so good to try out. Spray a little on your pillow before bed to help you sleep. I honestly can't wait to try this out as sometimes I just can't seem to get off to sleep, so this might be a cure! It's small sample bottle but I hope it goes a long way. It smells so lovely of lavender and I can't wait to try it. The full size product retails at £16, where you can find at

De Bruyere Beaute: Jumbo Eye Pencil - I got this in the shade Bubble 07, which is the most perfect khaki grey shade. I am in love with the khaki colour, so this was a bonus. It seems perfect for a subtle eye look, when your in a rush in the morning. Its a lovely shimmer which is definitely buildable. Its so creamy and just glides on which is perfect and i will definitely be using this a lot in the coming months! It retails for €15, which is around £13, which is a little on the expensive side, so I just hope it's worth it!

Kiss: Looks so natural lashes - As you probably know by now, I love lashes! I don't tend to wear them on a daily basis as I just don't feel like I make much more of an effort going out, so it's something I keep for special occasions. These lashes seem perfect, just a nice natural look for a night out, which I'm glad to be adding to my collection. They don't look too stiff either, which is always a bonus. They retail for £4.95 and can be purchased here from my favourite new false lash website.

Ruby Professional: Large Tapered Blending Brush - Last but not least we have the Ruby Blending brush, which I really like the look of. It looks similar to my morphe brushes and is super duper soft, which looks like it'll help to blend a lot more than usual, so we're all winners! The brush isnt too big for the crease but is also the perfect size for the face, so can be used for so many things, which is again a bonus. It retails for €8, which is around £6.90, which is definitely a reasonable price for a brush. Interested? Take a look at the set here.

Overall, again I am so impressed with this months box. They never fail to make me smile when they are delivered as the packaging is always pristine. Did you receive anything different this month? Do you receive a box from a different company?

See you soon,

Georgia Xxx

ProWhite+ Teeth Whitening Combo

Hey everyone, I hope your all having a lovely productive week! A few weeks ago I discovered a brand I have never heard of before, called ProWhite+. They followed me on Twitter so of course I followed them back and had a nose at their website and products. Teeth whitening was something I had been looking at for a while but hadn't really found anything worth purchasing, until I came across this. I have seen the likes of Charlotte Crosby offering teeth whitening products, but you know when you just know they have paid unreal amounts of money to have them whitened professionally!? I'm just not into celeb kind of stuff. I know it puts the product out there and raises sales but I'm just honestly not as interested.

I ordered the same day I came across their twitter page, where I paid £27 (I was offered a discount code for mentioning them on my twitter page) for both the whitening pen and also the LED light to enhance whitening. Shipping took around a week, which I didn't mind waiting for. It's one of those times where you always go home and be like "have I had any parcels today" with a little bit of hope that it's been delivered. I used it the same night it arrived and it was honestly the most easiest thing to do.
Usually, I'm the type who hates spending time on stuff - I hardly can ever be bothered to straighten my hair, do a proper skincare routine and stuff like that, so obviously I was a little skeptical at first. It comes with a pen and the LED light, which is just the small and cutest little thing so it's not as if it will take up all your space. The instructions say to add the whitening pen first after taking off the cap and twisting the bottom and it's simply just like painting your teeth. I aim to do both top and bottom, mainly at the front as that is what I'm most unhappy with. You then let the liquid dry for only around 3 seconds which I love as I would literally hate having to sit around waiting for ages before I could do anything. It then states to turn on the LED light and place it in your mouth for 5-15 minutes, which again seems like a long time but isn't the end of the world, right? Its the best thing as when your sat there watching TV you can just relax without having to hold anything and it doesn't feel like a ball ache to do. After 15 minutes (thats how long I would do it for) give it a quick wash and stick it back in the packet. I will admit the light can be a bit temperamental and play up but I'm not sure if its the batteries going means as I've used it so much! It can be used twice a day, so I tend to use it at some point during the day and before I go to bed.

As for whitening, I am super impressed. I have never been one for having insanely white and neat teeth (I had braces but I didn't use my retainers for long enough so they have moved!) so I wasn't expecting them to be pearly white in a day, it's just a nice slow process. I was surprised at how quickly I saw a difference, even though I have been slacking on it a bit lately (then again I've been slacking on everything) so I am really excited to continue using it and seeing even better results. I will continue to use it until I'm happy with the whiteness, which I hope won't take long. It also doesn't make your teeth sensitive, which is something else I was worried about, I have sensitive teeth anyway but this didn't add any extras so I was super happy about that.

Another amazing thing is that you can buy the two products together and save money or you can buy them separate. As you probably know, the liquid in the pen won't last forever so you can just repurchase it without breaking the bank either! Its just so handy to travel with and does the job so quickly! Make sure you head over to to check out their products. They offer quick and polite customer service too, which I love.

Have you tried teeth whitening before? What products have you used? Let me know in the comments.

Thankyou so much for reading,

Georgia Xxx

October Favourites

Hello everyone, I'm really sorry I haven't blogged in such a long time, but I'm back and ready to show you my October favourites. This month has been very minimal makeup for an extra 15 minutes in bed and most of the products are ones I've had or a while, so have got battered in my makeup bag! (I also wanted to include my colour tattoo's by Maybelline, but I've left them at home as I used them all weekend! You can read my post of me raving about them here)

Estee Lauder: Double Wear Foundation - I have raved about this foundation to so many people! If someone comes and asks me what foundation to invest in I'd 100% say this one! Its so versatile as you can mix it with moisturiser for a more sheer coverage, or for a lovely flawless full coverage look. I am in the shade 1c1 Cool Bone and it's amazing when applying with my Real Techniques Complexion Sponge. Its not heavy or cakey and I find it to be a good match for me. Its also available in so many different shades to suit all skin tones and can be purchased here for £31.

Sleek Matte Me: Liquid Lipstick - Again, I have raved about this liquid lipstick as it's just the perfect nude. For all seasons it just fits, drys within a few seconds and doesn't feel sticky or even come off! Thats one thing I hate about lipstick but I find myself reaching for this one all the time (in the shade Birthday Suit). It's available for £4.99 from Superdrug (here is the link) and I also think they've changed the packaging which is really exciting.

Eyelash Curlers: Body Care - I picked these up a few weeks ago in Body Care for literally like £1.25 and they have been a godsend. I know there so cheap but they are so good. My lashes are just short and straight and I never usually bother but I have seen such a difference in my lashes they have become an essential part of my routine.

No.7: Lovely Lashes Mascara - My boyfriends Mum gave me this mascara as it was a brown shade, but this is now one of my favourite mascaras. I always find when I put on a thickening mascara my lashes just end up going frumpy and looking like a potato. This is such a good mascara which makes my lashes look so natural. I need to get some more to be honest! It retails for £12.95, which I guess is a little more expensive but worth every penny and it can be purchased here.

Makeup Obsession: Eyeshadow - As you have probably already seen I have RAVED so bad about the new makeup obsession brand at Boots, which you can have a nose at here. The one shade I have been obsessed with is the Copper eye shadow shade. It's PERFECT for fall and just creates a perfect dimension to the crease, and again I find myself reaching for it all the time. It's so pigmented and for £2 who can really complain!? Check out Makeup Obsession at Boots now!

Anastasia Beverley Hills: Dipbrow Pomade - This is an old favourite of course, The dipbrow pomade in dark brown. It creates a defined brow without making them look caked, as you only need the slightest bit of product. I'm not going to go on about it but its definitely something you should have in your makeup collection. (I think makeup revolution have just launched a similar thing). The ABH pomeade retails for £15 and is available in many different shades here.

Collection: Lasting Perfection Concealer - Again another oldie, but something I love. I have got through so many of these its untrue and I have all the shades. Perfect for any season, they offer high coverage for a fraction of the high end price. Mine is battered as I'm nearly finished but need to go and pick up another one. As soon as you have this in your collection you will doubt buying any other one! At the moment I am using the shade 1 fair under my eyes, on the chin and around the nose. It's priced at just £4.19, lasts ages and can be purchased here (they are perfect for on Holiday too, when you don't want to wear foundation). They also do a foundation to match this which I can't WAIT to try.

Collection: Sheer Loose Powder - As well as the Rimmel Stay Matte, this is always in my bag. It's perfect for baking and the concealer stays exactly where I put it, no creasing or fading, and as there both from the same brand they work so well together. I got the shade translucent as I still wanted a bit of coverage, but not too much. Again it's just so inexpensive at £2.99 for so much product, which you can see here.

What were your faves this month? Have you tried any favourites I have included this month? Let me know! I'm so happy to finally be blogging again!

See you soon and thanks for reading!

Contour Craziness!

Now I know that bronzer and contouring has been around for years and there are so many different products to choose from, it's hard finding something that suits everyone, and for a decent price. I'm afraid I'm one of those girls who just loves Hoola by Benefit. That's it. I'm just like everyone else. Yes I am going to rave about it like every other blogger, because I just think it's the best thing ever invented.

During my holidays this year (I went to Turkey in July, which was incredible) I was flicking through the on-flight magazine at all the makeup goodies. Something instantly caught my eye and just SCREAMED summer at me, which was Dew the Hoola, which is also by benefit. It's still Hoola, just in a liquid format. I purchased it on the plane there and then without a doubt. I used it every single night while on holiday and it was seriously the best thing ever.

Coming complete with cute 'bamboo' packaging, its just a dream. Place a little on your finger and swipe just under the cheek bones. Simple as that. I love using my real techniques setting brush to help blend it in and it creates the most beautiful cream contour ever. You literally only need the slightest bit and you are in contour heaven I'm telling you. I find this perfect for summer and it needs to be in every holiday makeup bag!

Now that its coming up to Autumn and Winter, I'm tending to stick to just the normal, matte Hoola. I find it just puts the look together so much better, as I find shimmer is prettier in the summer time. It doesn't get muddy, only a little product goes onto the brush (which I like) and it just blends so easily. When applied to the cheekbones, temples and jawline it gives off subtle definition, but not so it looks like you've got tuns of makeup on.

Buy Dew the Hoola here for £22.50
Buy Hoola here for £23.50 (they also do a cute mini version here)

The products last absolutely ages (I have a mini one and I've literally been using it every day for a year and it hasn't hit pan yet) and for the price I think its a good investment due to how long they last.

Have you tried any of these products? Will you be trying them?

See you in my next post!
